Gabe Sportswear Ambassador Damaine Benjamin – Double European Masters Gold Medallist
We are thrilled to shine the spotlight on our brand ambassador, Damaine Benjamin, whose electric performances at the 2025 European Masters Athletics Stadia Championships (held in Madeira, Portugal, October 9–19) saw him capture gold in the 400m hurdles and as part of the 4 × 100m relay team, a rare double triumph that demonstrates both individual excellence and collaborative performance.
Representing Great Britain, Damaine delivered two championship winning performances that showcased elite athleticism, composure, and the dedication required to compete at the highest level in Masters athletics.
400m Hurdles Gold (Men’s V35 Category)
Damaine claimed the top spot in the hurdles event, displaying precision, power, and consistency, the hallmarks of a true champion.
4 × 100m Relay Gold (Team GB)
He also secured relay gold as part of the British 4 × 100m squad, showcasing his speed, technical precision, and team strength.
These achievements highlight Damaine’s versatility, an athlete who can dominate an individual event and then seamlessly contribute to a team victory.
Outside of championship racing, Damaine Benjamin is a dedicated Strength and Conditioning Coach and Sports Massage Therapist. Through his brands, Pro Body Performance and Pro Body Therapies, he works with athletes and clients to enhance performance, recovery, and overall wellbeing.
Drawing on his experience as an elite Masters athlete, Damaine helps others reach their physical potential through tailored coaching, recovery strategies, and education, empowering people to perform at their best both on and off the track.
